Australian actor, Guy Pearce has hopped aboard production of ‘The Hungry Rabbit Jumps,’ just two weeks before shooting begins. Pearce joins Nicholas Cage and January Jones in Australian born director-writer, Roger Donaldson’s latest thriller.
Plot details are scarce. Cage is cast as an ordinary man who enlists the help of a vigilante group to settle the score after his wife (Jones) is attacked. According to Empire Magazine, that leaves Pearce with the possibility of playing either the vigilante gang’s leader or a police officer. But concrete details are still unavailable.
With Pearce joining the cast of ‘The Hungry Rabbit Jumps,’ he adds to his already busy schedule. According to imdb, Pearce is in the midst of working on several productions, including ‘The King’s Speech,’ a chronicle of King George VI’s effort to overcome his nervous stammer; ‘Get it at Goode’s,’ a comedy set in a 1960s department store; ‘Thicker,’ a tale of a brother and sister who go to great lengths to recover an inheritance buried with their recently deceased mother; and ‘The Diplomat,’ about which there is no plot information. All of these are expected to release in 2010.
