Maybe it’s just a case of Pattinson-Stewart-Lautner fatigue on the part of Twi-hards everywhere, but the Twilighter getting the most attention these days isn’t Edward, Bella or Jacob, but Alice – a.k.a. hot new starlet Ashley Greene.

The 23-year-old actress is back as Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the latest installment of the blockbuster series. But, smart cookie that she is, Greene is already looking forward and plotting her next moves as Hollywood’s latest ‘It Girl.’

Deadline reports that Greene has signed on to star in LOL, an American remake of a hit French film with the same title. Greene will star alongside pop star Miley Cyrus and Ashton Kutcher’s wife Demi Moore

The film, a coming of age story set in our modern world of internet gadgets and social networking, will find Greene and Cyrus pitted against one another as mortal enemies.

Lisa Azuelos, who wrote and directed the 2008 original is also helming the remake, a la Michael Haneke’s American remake of his own Funny Games. Shooting, which is taking place in Detroit, is set to begin July 20th.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens in theatres nationwide today (June 30).
